A different perspective on the Tatras

The visit follows a gradually climbing wooden walkway, which the operator describes as 854 metres long. The view changes as you rise from the forest towards the panorama. Glass viewing areas, nets and separately charged slides offer different ways to enjoy the structure. You do not need to try every element. If heights make you uneasy, take your time and stay with the parts that feel comfortable. Views depend on visibility: the name does not mean you will be above a sea of clouds on every visit.

Pick a car park, then allow for the approach

The operator lists seven parking locations. For car parks 1–4 at Zgorzelisko, the published walks to the attraction are approximately 1, 2, 7 and 8 minutes. Two options in Małe Ciche involve a longer approach or a chairlift when it is operating; check that service separately. Our driving link goes to the coordinates of the operator’s car park 1, not onto the structure. Parking availability, opening status and charges can change, so check before setting off.

Admission: a dated price guide

On 17 October 2026, published admission was PLN 76 for a standard ticket, PLN 58 for the listed concession groups and PLN 68 for eligible pensioners with the required document. Under-threes entered free under the operator’s rules. Slides were not included. Check the current age boundaries and documents, particularly when a child is close to the concession limit. These are tickets sold by an independent attraction and are not automatically included in your Silverton stay.

Pushchairs, optional activities and the weather

The operator describes the gently sloping main walkway as accessible with pushchairs. That does not make every net, shortcut or optional activity suitable for every visitor. Use the ordinary walkway if that is more comfortable for your group. Slide operation depends on the conditions, with closures including during rain and strong wind. Take an extra layer for the exposed structure. Check visibility and staff updates for the attraction itself rather than relying solely on the forecast for Białka.

Walking from Silverton: make it a full day

Our route check to the Zgorzelisko parking area showed 13.9 km and around 3 hours 33 minutes each way, via Wierch Rusiński. It falls within our 15 km rule for reaching a named starting point, so we retain the walking option. It is not the distance for the whole outing. Returning the same way brings the approach alone to 27.8 km, before visiting Sky Walk. Allow a full day, review the road sections and leave enough daylight for the return.

Buy on arrival and leave time to get back

At the time of checking, the operator sold tickets on site only and required them to be validated within 60 minutes of purchase. Published October hours were 09:00–18:00, changing to 09:00–17:00 from November to March, with last admission an hour before closing. Check your exact date and any holiday exceptions. Avoid arriving so late that the walk down, return to your car or longer journey on foot becomes rushed. Ask the team before buying if you are unsure how much time remains.

A suggested day plan

  1. Check visibility, current updates, opening times and parking. Decide between driving and a full-day walking outing.
  2. Reach the Zgorzelisko car park, walk to the entrance and buy admission under the operator’s current arrangements.
  3. Explore the main walkway at your own pace. Choose optional activities after checking their conditions and rules.
  4. Return to your starting point with enough time for the journey to Silverton. Avoid adding another long walk on impulse.

The onward stage from the car park

The operator gives around a 1-minute walk from car park 1 to Sky Walk. The attraction itself is a separate stage: allow for the walkway, stops and getting back to the exit. The 22-minute drive does not include parking or admission.

Allow for the full return journey

If driving, return to the same car park and allow for the journey back to Silverton. Walking from the guesthouse and back alone amounts to about 27.8 km and over seven hours on the map estimate, before visiting the attraction. Allow a full day or arrange transport for one leg beforehand; do not assume it will be available without checking.

Approximate Google Maps check: 17.10.2026. Times and distances are one way to the named car park and exclude the visit. Check current directions, weather and updates before setting off.
